Children's Expression



Children's Expression: 

      Another major idea in Gijubhai's philosophy is 'Children's Expression'.This expression occupies a very important place in human life.Man becomes healthy through expression.Man becomes upset if expression is not found.What a relief it would be to spend half an hour chatting with peers.We often heal a very sad person by crying.Who has not seen the farmers or the fishermen returning after catching the rice crop and dancing in ecstasy?This is the tendency in Orissa, Andhra and Konkani folk dances.  

           The Arabian Knights were created by the Sagarputras who sailed Daryalal in a single ship and expressed their happiness and sorrow, love and devotion, friendship and sacrifice, fantasies and passions.Hundreds of thousands of miles away from home, nights between the abyss above and the mehraman below just because of that expression.Can you complete days and nights?This expression also develops the human heart.All mankind's creations are the result of this expression.It is in the art of this expression that human creativity exists.Picture,music,story,drama,folk music, folklore, folk art, art collections, small and big activities,conversation are all different types of expression. 



     This expression is very helpful in the development of the heart and in the disturbance of creativity and towards this his guru Montessori in his method has emphasized on painting,music and folk decoration,but Gijubhai goes much further than that.And puts more emphasis on this organ in their own kindergarten.Introduces new stories like children's stories,children's plays, folk songs,folk tales,art collections etc.  In terms of stories, Dr.Montessori here is also a good deal of disagreement with Montessori.Thus, even adding his own originals,Gijubhai developed this in his kindergarten and immersed the kindergarten in interest and joy.Moreover,he accepted this very consciously.In the preface to one of his books he notes that ‘today we must never forget the development of the heart when it comes to the ill effects of the overdevelopment of the intellect;  Not only that, but let's focus on it.

         A.   The teacher should be able to observe the first mark.This observation could not be easily made.The teacher should have great patience,instead of letting the child learn something,he should have the tendency to let the child learn by himself.The teacher helps as much as he needs to.Unnecessary help hinders a child's development.  

          B.  Another quality in the teacher is restraint of speech.He should observe a strict fast of silence until it happens.The teacher should also exaggerate the use of speech where there is a need to use it spontaneously or when giving individual lessons.The line of that verse of Dakshinamurti Stotra comes to mind.

      C. The third quality of a teacher is selflessness.He is the only one who can help the child in his development as much as possible.There is also learning from children.His humility is such that he is always careful not to make any mistake of his own and also to ensure that the child does not get any kind of injustice.  

       D.  The qualities that a Montessori.He teacher should have in a scientist are also needed.Without the qualities of observation,diligence,industry,patience, haste for the result,quick decision making and accuracy etc.

It doesn't work.The combination of his vision and the child's vision and the idea that the child is a delicate machine, should definitely be imprinted in his mind.  In addition, if he does not have knowledge of psychology, etc., he is incomplete as a teacher.  

      E.  The most important quality is that the teacher needs extraordinary confidence in the child's personality.He needs complete empathy for the child and especially devotion in the child.In the book titled 'Montessori Method', Gijubhai has also given due consideration to the position of the teacher.They say: ‘Life grows by itself.  In order to study it, to know its mysteries or to draw its activity,one needs to first observe it and then understand its meaning without intervening.'

      The teacher's vision should be as precise and pure as that of a scientist and as loving and spiritual as that of saintly men.The precision of science and the sanctity of a saint are two basic pillars of a teacher's preparation.  

       The teacher's instinct should be classical and divine at the same time.  In all these thoughts, it is clear that  He does not disagree with Dr.Montessori on this point.


      The significance of this philosophy

 
The role of the teacher in education

              Gijubhai,which is a feature of philosophy that they seem to agree with, should not go unnoticed.  Great learning of education He did not fall into education by studying.He fell into education due to some distance from the business of advocacy.  


       Nowhere did he return to foreign lands.He did not see the institutions of the new Western education.Overwhelmed by childishness,he read educational books with innovative ideas to make his children's education excellent,interesting and welfare-oriented;He compared the ideas with his own everyday experiences and the conclusions drawn from them;And many of these years of unparalleled struggle finally built his philosophy. 

      In Gijubhai's philosophy we hear the rumble of self-realization.And that is why his philosophy is not a utopia (daydream),but a workaholic philosophy that has been practiced in life and can be practiced even now.Gijubhai's vision can reach beyond the horizon.The radicalization of his ideas has not diminished even today.He had a clear vision of what life should be like and that is why we can see very clearly how he was trained to shape such a life.Even though it has been so many years since his death, the significance of his thoughts has not diminished.  As the years go by, the importance of this philosophy becomes more and more understood and its practice seems inevitable.

        And that is why Gandhiji paid homage to him saying, "Who am I to write about Gijubhai?"  I was always fascinated by her enthusiasm and her faith.His work will flourish.  '
