DIKSHA - One Nation, One Platform 

       Vidhadan project has been started as a new project of DIKSHA.It will be very useful for everyone to be involved in the exchange process.

        We all know about the DIKSHA project launched by MOE and NCERT at the national level.ONE NATION ONE PLATFORM means DIKSHA.National Digital Repository DIKSHA.The DIKSHA Platform is working to ensure that students,teachers,parents,and instructors all have access to excellent, quality,verified educational literature in digital form on one place. 
          Gujarat is one of the leading states in the country in its efforts to maintain continuity in the education of students through the DIKSHA platform during the difficult times of the Corona epidemic and to enable teachers to receive training in digital form.Energised Textbook (ETB) has been prepared for the students through which students can study at home by scanning QR code and using digital content.QR codes have been placed in all textbooks of Std. 3 to 8 as well as in Std.10 in Mathematics and Science textbooks in which more than 2100 e-contents have been placed.Apart from this, all the educational episodes aired on TV under the Home Learning program by the State of Gujarat have also been placed on DIKSHA so that any student can watch DIKSHA at any time if he misses or needs to watch it again.More e-content has been placed.  From 1/4/2020 to 27/12/2020, a total of 3,49,20,765 content of ETB and home learning has been viewed by the students.Apart from this, the state has so far started more than 70 digital courses for teachers in which a total of 11,56,41,070 contents have been viewed by the teachers.It is a matter of pride that the state of Gujarat ranks fourth in the use of DIKSHA in the entire country.

Vidyadan

  Vidyadan project has been started for the purpose of getting quality educational e-content on DIKSHA. 

   What is Vidyadan? 

   Vidyadan is the donation of Vidya as the name suggests. 

    Who can do Vidyadan? 

    Any teacher, instructor, guardian or any other person or organization can do it. 

      In what form can education be done? 

      This education can be donated digitally in the form of video, audio, assessment questions, lesson planning etc.Any study related to the textbook can be related literature or reference literature.

     How is the education process? 

    The education process has three main wings. 

   1.  Contributor

                  Any person or organization can contribute. Here are some common things to keep in mind when contributing to content.Such that the content should correspond to that point. 
   YouTube link cannot be placed. 
   Note that it is difficult to upload and download very long videos. 
    Take care of spelling, pedagogy etc.          
    Any kind of advertisement or promotionShould not be. 
     Copyright should not be infringed.

        2.Reviewer

                  Content contributed by subject wise experts will be evaluated.  Those who check the quality of the content will agree, disagree or suggest improvement and they can send any content for Accept, Reject of Correction.

       3.  Sourcing  organization

                      Acts as GCERT, Gandhinagar Sourcing Organization.  At present a total of 12 projects in Gujarat have been opened.In which textbooks of all subjects of standard 3 to 8 are included. 
       

        How to donate to Vidyadan?    

             Follow the steps below to upload content to Vidyadan. 

     Step: 1 

How to register as CELEL- 42 "Individual Contributor"? 

   1. Go to https://vdn.diksha.gov.in/gj/contribute.       
   2. Log in using your DIKSHA ID and password or log in using your Gmail ID and password by clicking on "Sign In with Google". 
      3.  After successfully logging in, a dialog box "Enroll as Contributor" will appear.In it, select “Individual” and click on Submit. 
       

          Step: 2 

How to nominate yourself for any project? 

          1.  Under the "All Projects" tab,all ongoing projects will be available.Select the project you want to contribute to and click "Open".
        2. Click on "Select Content Types". Select the content type you want to contribute and click on "Submit".
        3.  All the textbooks of the given project will appear.Select all the textbooks for which you want to contribute.
        4. Click on “Nominate”.A dialog box appears in which click on “Submit”.     
       5. Once your nomination has been accepted by the sourcing organization, you can start contributing to the projects.
  

          Step: 3

 How to contribute as "Individual Contributor"?

       1. Go to https://vdn.diksha.gov.in/gj/contribute and log in to your account.Click on "My Projects". 
     2. Status “Approved” will appear in the project for which your nomination has been accepted. Click on “Open” to allocate content in the project.
     3. Click on “Upload Content” in the textbook for which content is to be allocated.
      4. All of the textbooks you have selected.Click on “CreateNew” in the topic on which the content is to be allocated.
       5. Select the type of content to be allocated.For the selected content type, the following format file can be uploaded.
   
        Explanation (Issue)  Explaining of  -pdf, epub, mp4, webm.

       Activity for learning - pdf,epub, mp4,h5p,webm
       Experiential - mp4,webm       
       Explanation Video - mp4,webm

     6.Upload content from the commuter. 
     7. Fill in all the details about the content.Write the name of the issue with special care while writing the name of the content. 

         If the content is created by you, write your name in "Author" and if it is created by an organization,write the name of that organization. 
     If the content is created by you but another organization also has some kind of participation in it,your name can be written in "Author" and the name of that organization in "Attributions".
     After filling all the details carefully, click on "Publish". 

       Note: Each content uploaded to DIKSHA is licensed CC BY 4.0 Means anyIndividuals may copy and redistribute content to any medium or format. 
      
          8.Every student in the state will be able to take advantage if your content is accepted by the Sourcing Institute. 
        If your content does not meet the quality standards it may be rejected by the sourcing organization.If your content is sent for correction by a sourcing organization,you will see "Correction Pending" against that content.Click on it to make the appropriate correction. 
       9.  Clicking on “View Comments” will allow you to see the comments made by the sourcing organization to improve your content.You can "Publish" content again with appropriate modifications.

      In addition new courses are placed on the DIKSHA portal every week in which you have to visit the DIKSHA portal regularly to join and get the certificate. 
         DIKSHA is a national initiative to maintain continuity in the education of students and provide quality educational resources to the students.
