What's new in National Education Policy 2020 ??

New education policy came in 1986, a few amendments were made in 1992, according to that policy, education and system was running till now.

Teaching and learning plans are changeable as time demands.  Changes occur at fixed intervals.  Frequent changes do not bring good results. The focus of this matter is seen in the education policies of our country.  Finally, the new education policy came in 1986, a few amendments were made in 1992, according to that policy, education and system was running till now.

National Education Policy 2020 is a new step for us.Special important things should be done. The first five years, three years pre-primary and the first second standard together is a unit of five years. What to do in this?  It's nicely arranged. So what kind of education will there be in five years?  How to give?  What children expect Is?  And what is the plan?  Then the pattern of 3 + 3 + 4 is the third, fourth, fifth unit, six - seven - eight separate units and 9 - 10-11-12  unit. Thus tailored to the age group, they are structured according to the developmental needs of education at different stages of development.  This is a prominent and effective matter.

secondly, the emphasis on mother tongue education in the early years.  Not made compulsory but provision has been made to provide full nutrition to education in the mother tongue.
This is an effective thing,When a child is burdened with both language and content, his or her performance is greatly affected. In a mother tongue that is acquired, education does not have to be a language barrier. It can focus on content instead. This will be very useful for the study of students.

The pattern of 3 + 3 + 4 is the third, fourth, fifth unit, six - seven - eight separate units and 9-10-11-12 unit. Thus tailored to the age group, they are structured according to the developmental needs of education at different stages of development.

When new NEP going to implement in School ?

Another important thing is that if vocational education, teaching as well as various business skills come into it, then the job pressure that arises with teaching is alleviated. If he can get self-employment even when he can't get a job after studying, then he becomes self-reliant.That is why the importance of education increases. It is believed that there is only education to get a job but this is no longer the case.  Against the belief that education is not necessary if a job is not available, education will provide professional skills in addition to jobs,so that the question of employment can be resolved in the future. So that one more incentive to get education will join.

The most striking new thing in the national education policy is that so far, science, commerce and arts have been created and the subjects are tailored to the stream that the student chooses. The policy may include science as well as commerce or arts subjects. There is so much great originality here. Thus the subject choice is given. So that subject diversity can keep up with itself. Thus, by studying our future with joy and enthusiasm, new directions of education will be opened from the National Education Policy-2020 and we will give its benefits to the children ....

Difference between National Policy of Education 1968 and 2020 ?

     Previous Policies:

The emphasis of the implementation of previous policies for education was on education access and accessibility.  National Education Policy  1986,Revised in the form1992,every effort has been made to complete its unfinished work through this policy(NEP 1986/92) A major change after the previous policy was the 'Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009' which was to make universal  access to education accessible legal grounds made available.

A good educational institution is one in which every student is welcomed and supervised.Where there is a kind of safe and inspiring educational environment.Where all kinds of experiences are made available to all students for learning and where good basic structures and necessary resources are available for learning.Achieving all this should be the goal of every educational institution. At the same time, intuitive connection and coordination between different institutions and at every level of education is also essential.

Emphasis on conceptual understanding rather than Gokhania study and experimental study.

Ethics, humanitarian and constitutional values such as:empathy, respect for others, cleanliness, democracy, service, respect for public property, scientific thinking, freedom, responsibility, pluralism, equality and justice.
Promoting the power of language in the work of multilingualism and teaching pedagogy.

Life skills such as communication, cooperation, teamwork and flexibility.

Tuition practices are encouraged to move forward due to the education centered on the annual examinations, instead of emphasizing continuous assessment for learning.

Emphasis on the use of technology as much as possible in educational planning and management to overcome language barriers in teaching and learning, for children with disabilities,to make education accessible.

Respect for local diversity and local contexts in all curricula, pedagogies and policies, always keeping in mind that education is a cohesive subject.

MHRD _ A National Assessment forse,"PARAKH"(Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for,Holistic Development) is proposed to be established which is recognized by all of India. These will meet some basic objectives for school boards, such as criteria for student assessment and evaluation, standard guidelines.
It will also conduct the State Achievement Survey (SAS).It will also monitor the achievement of study findings in the country. The policy also aims to help school boards change their assessment system to meet the 21st century skills requirements. The center will also advise the school board on the new assessment methodology and the latest research and promote collaboration between the school boards. Each school will provide guidance to spread best practices across boards and to ensure uniformity of educational standards among students.

Who will get more flexibility as per NEP 2020 ?

The principles for university entrance examinations will be the same. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct examinations for high quality general aptitude exams,as well as science, anthropology, language, arts and vocational subjects and special or general subjects at least twice a year. These exams will test the ability to apply theoretical understanding and knowledge and will eliminate the need to take coaching for these exams.Students will be able to select the subjects in which they are interested in taking the exam, and each university will be able to view each student's individual subject portfolio as well as admit students to their programs based on personal interest and talent.
NTA will enable most universities to use this specialized entrance exam for the high quality, range and quality of services as a leading, specialist, autonomous testing institution for conducting entrance examinations for undergraduate and graduate as well as fellowships in educational institutions.Doing so would reduce the burden on students, universities and colleges,as well as the entire education system, rather than hundreds of universities conducting their own entrance exams.NTA - The decision on whether to use  assessment for their entrance exams will be left to individual universities and colleges.

Skilled resource and effective management through school complex / cluster.

The school complex system will improve school management and make it more efficient. The first DSE will give the right at the school complex cluster level, which will function as a semi-autonomous unit.District Education Officer and the Block Education Officer will work with each school / cluster as a unit. The total will discharge the responsibilities assigned by the DSE and coordinate all the schools coming under it.The school complex / cluster will be given a lot of freedom through which it will take necessary constructive steps towards providing integrated education, following the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and State Curriculum Framework (SCF),Will experiment on the curriculum, pedagogy.Under this organization the school will be stronger, able to operate more independently and this will make the complex more innovative and responsible.DSE-meanwhile,will be able to focus on larger targets, which will effectively improve the entire education system.

These complexes/Both types by cluster/A culture of working in a long-term and short-term planned way will develop. The school will create its own school development plan (SDP) with the help of SMC.These schemes will form the basis for making School Complex / Cluster Development Plan (SCDP).The SCDP will include the plans of all the other institutes attached to the complex, such as the planning of the vocational education institute and will be prepared by the principal of the complex as well as the teacher with the help of SMC.The scheme will be made public. The plan will include initiatives for human resource, study resource, physical resource and infrastructural improvement, financial resources, school culture initiative, teacher capacity building scheme and targets related to educational outcomes. It includes a group of faculty and students will also outline the planning of efforts to develop into an energetic learning-centric community.
SDP and SCDP will be the main medium, connecting all stakeholders including DSE.SMC and SCMC, SDP and SCDP will be used to monitor the functioning and direction of schools and help in implementing the schemes.  The SCDP of each school complex will be sanctioned by officials like DEO,BEO.  In addition,DSE will provide short term (1 year) and long term (3 to 5 years)resources(financial, human, physical, etc) for the success of these schemes.Other relevant help in achieving academic achievement is also provided DSE and SCERT will provide special standards (for example, finance, personnel and process) and framework for the development of SDP and SCDP with schools, which will be researched periodically.

In order to inevitably transform the entire education system, special attention will need to be paid to the rapidly evolving technology.1986/1992 When the  National Education Policy was formulated,it was difficult to predict the revolutionary impact of the Internet. The inability to cope with these rapid and disruptive changes in our current education system (individually and nationally) is leading to a dangerous and detrimental situation in an increasingly competitive world.Cutters, for example are largely behind humans in leveraging real and procedural knowledge.Even then, our education at all levels places a heavy burden on students instead of developing those high-level money abilities.
